It is a blessing to be sharing the exciting news that 2025 Edge of The Water Women’s Retreat is coming. The committee has been praying for a move of God in a major way. Those who were part of the 2024 retreat saw women come to Jesus and lives changed.
| 2025 EOTW GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: |
- Retreat dates: October 24th, 25th and 26th.
- Cost: $150 for the weekend based on double occupancy in a room
- A love offering will be taken at the retreat for our speaker.
- Theme: PRAY – Real Women Fight on Their Knees
- Guest Speaker: Bunny Robles
- Open Registration: May 1st (Mail or Online Options – with a $ processing fee for credit card payment)
- Register early: We are expecting a full crowd with a possible sellout this year.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Full refunds until September 1. 2024 50% refunds until October 1, 2024
- No refunds will be available after October 1, 2024; however, you may transfer your registration to someone else if you are not able to attend. They will be assigned to the room you were in.
- BAPTISM:
New this year – you will have the opportunity to be baptized in Lake Erie. Weather permitting this will happen on Saturday after lunch. You should bring something to be baptized in and a thick towel and/or robe.

–Clothing – casual and comfortable. Note dressing in layers is helpful
–Water bottle/coffee tumbler

–Extra towel (those provided are small)

–Pillow – if you need a certain firmness

–Love offering and money for raffle
| DINING UPDATES: |
- Complimentary meals are included in your registration! It is our desire that you join us for meals. If you choose to, you are welcome to bring your own food or visit a restaurant in the area.
- Beulah Beach will accommodate dietary restrictions for those who are Gluten free or have dairy issues. Please indicate this on your registration form.
- The menu is as follows:
| FRIDAY NIGHT | Dinner will include a Sandwich Bar (cold cuts and cheese), soup and a salad bar. |
| SATURDAY MORNING | Breakfast Bar with waffles, eggs, various cereals and baked oatmeal |
| SATURDAY AFTERNOON | Baked Potato Bar, Soup, & Salad Bar |
| SATURDAY EVENING | Marry Me Chicken – Chicken in a parmesan cheese and sundried tomato sauce (dairy free available) |
| SUNDAY MORNING | Breakfast Bar |
| ROOM OPTIONS |
IN THE LODGE:
- Lodge cost of $150 is based on double or triple occupancy
- You will be asked on the registration form whom you want to room with.
- Please let us know if you are willing to use a top bunk or share a double bed. If you do not want to share a double bed, or are able to use the top bunk, there will be no more than 3 women in your room.
- Larger rooms will fill fast
- There are a limited number of private room. These rooms are first come first serve. If you would like a private room, we suggest that you register very early. The cost is $180 for these rooms. Remember the most fun is bringing a friend, a sister, or a daughter for the weekend and enjoying the best slumber party ever.
- For those women who want the retreat but are not staying on site-$80 (includes meals and program)
COTTAGES:
Beulah Beach has a number of cottages we are able to use as needed. There are 1 and 2 bedroom cottages. Each cottage has one bathroom, a sitting area and a small kitchen. They also have a wonderful view of Lake Erie. You must bring your own linens. You can walk to the retreat center (down a steep hill) – or drive over.
–Cottages are also $150 per person
–Private cottages are available for those who need extra time alone. The cost for these is $200.
CAMPING
- This year a limited number of campsites with full hookup are available. Cost is $125 per person in the camper
- Price includes camping, meals and full retreat program
| ARTWORK RAFFLE |
- Back by popular demand – we will have a special raffle this year.
- We will be raffling the artwork that our committee members and friends are doing for decorations. We also have some surprises for our raffle.
- Tickets will be available for a dollar each or 12 tickets for $10. These will be available at the retreat so bring cash. We also have some wonderful door prizes.
| NEW EOTW T-SHIRTS |
- New T-shirts will be available this year for order only. These short sleeve shirts will be in a salmon color with a powerful graphic of a woman in armor and the words – Pray – Real Women Fight on Their Knees – on the front and our logo on the sleeve. T-shirts are available in crew neck or V-neck.
- Crew neck T-shirts will be $20.00 each and available in sizes up to a 4X. V-neck shirts are $22.00 each and available up to size 2X.
- This year we will again have a long sleeve T-shirts. These will be an aqua color and will have our logo on the front and the words edge of the water on the sleeve. Long-sleeved T-shirts will be $25. You will need to order these on your registration form.
- New this year: A hoodie is available – also in our aqua color with our logo on the front and the words Edge of the Water on the sleeve. Hoodies will be $45
- We will not have shirts for sale at the retreat.
| REGISTRATION UPDATES: |
- Registration time will be from 5:00-7:15 on Friday, October 24.
- When you arrive – follow the signs to the Lakeshore Lodge to register (turn on Indiana Avenue) – DO NOT go to the cottages – even if staying in one – come to lodge first to register.
- Important Note: Doors to the lodge will not open until 5p.m. Please do not come before then.
- Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m.

COMING FROM THE EAST
1 – COMING FROM INTERSTATE 90
• On Interstate 90 heading west, pick up Route 2 at Elyria heading west
• Drive to the Vermilion exit (Route 60) turn right (North)
• Drive north on Route 60 to downtown Vermilion, junction with Route 6
• Turn left on Route 6, drive 5 miles to Beulah Beach turn right

2 – TAKING THE TURNPIKE FROM THE CLEVELAND AREA
• Take the 80/90 turnpike West to Exit 135 – Baumhart Rd. turn left (North)
• Drive to Route 2 turn West on Route 2
• Drive to Vermilion Exit (Route 60) turn right
• Drive north on Route 60 to downtown Vermilion, junction with Route 6
• Turn left on Route 6, drive 5 miles to Beulah Beach turn right

COMING FROM MICHIGAN OR TOLEDO
• Take Route 23 South to the Ohio Turnpike (Salsbury Rd Exit) follow signs to turnpike
• Or take I-75 South to I-280 South to the turnpike
• Take the turnpike EAST to Exit 110 (route4) turn left (North) on Route 4 Sandusky
• Drive five miles to Route 2 turn East on Route 2
• Drive 13 1/2 miles to Hwy 61 BERLIN HEIGHTS EXIT (NOT Berlin Rd) turn left
• Drive 1/2 mile to Route 6 and turn right (flashing overhead light)

COMING FROM THE SOUTH
• Take 71 north to Exit 186 (Ashland) take Hwy 250 North to Savannah
• Junction with Hwy 60 and go North
• At Clarksfield, take Hwy 18 west to Hwy 601 (about 10 miles)
• Drive north to Route 61 turn North to Route 6 turn right
• Drive 3 miles to Beulah Beach turn left – LOOK FOR OUR BALLOONS
