WE LISTENED TO OUR SURVEYS FROM LAST YEAR.

THEREFORE, WE ARE GIVING WOMEN MORE TIME TO ENJOY THE ACTIVITY THEY CHOOSE.

THIS MEANS WE ARE ONLY OFFERING ONE SLOT FOR AN ACTIVITY; THESE FUN TIME OPTIONS WILL BE 2 HOURS LONG.

This year we are offering

  • Craft Creation:
🌸 Decorative Oyster Shell Keepsakes A creative, coastal‑chic craft experience for women of all ages During this fun retreat activity, women will transform real oyster shells into stunning keepsakes using beautiful, patterned papers, florals, and whimsical designs. Each shell becomes a tiny work of art. This craft is relaxing, hands‑on, and wonderfully personal. Every participant chooses her own pattern and style, creating a unique piece that can be used as a jewelry dish, prayer token holder, desk accent, or simply a lovely reminder of her time at the retreat. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, conversation, and coastal charm — a chance to slow down, laugh together, and take home something beautiful made with her own hands.
  • Art with Lisa: $5.00 Space is limited
Learn to create a beautiful driftwood decoration that you get to bring home to display inside or outside. Bring a piece of Beulah Beach home with you. You’re not just making décor — you’re bottling up the breeze, the sand, the quiet mornings, and the sound of waves hitting the shore. Every knot, curve, and weathered line in the driftwood is a little piece of the lake’s history, and you get to turn it into something beautiful.
  • Diving Deeper with Debbie:
This study will focus on hearing from God. It will include journaling and Bible studying tips. Come and learn how to listen when God speaks. Learn how journaling and studying Gods word will open up a deep relationship with our Heavenly Father.   Book of Life Digital Art by Jeffrey Reed - Fine Art America
  • Walking With Jesus:
A solo prayer walk is one of the simplest, most grounding spiritual practices you can give yourself — a quiet conversation between your heart and God, carried by your footsteps. It’s not rushed, not structured, not performative. It’s a gentle wandering that opens you up to presence, clarity, and peace. Guiding prompts lead you on a trail, turning a simple walk into a reflective journey.
  • Hiking (Guided tour):
🌿 Welcome to the Trail This hike is not about speed or distance. It is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and let God meet you step by step. As you walk, allow the guide to lead the way — and allow God to lead your heart. Your guide pauses at things you would’ve stepped right past — a tiny wildflower, a bird call, a pattern in the bark of a tree. They point, explain, invite you to look closer. And suddenly you realize: God does this too. He draws your attention to the small mercies, the quiet blessings, the overlooked beauty woven into your days.
  • Jewelry Making with Gloria: $5.00 (Space is limited)
Your Finished Piece: The Psalms 23 Bracelet When the class is over, you won’t just leave with new skills — you’ll leave with a beautiful, elegant bracelet inspired by Psalms 23. Every bead and detail will serve as a reminder of God’s guidance, comfort, and care. This isn’t just jewelry — it’s a keepsake. A piece you’ll treasure for years, wear with joy, and perhaps even pass down as a meaningful gift. Each time you glance at it, you’ll remember not only the scripture it represents but also the joy of creating it yourself.
  • Needle Craft Niche:

  • Shop ’til you Drop
Vermillion Ohio is a few miles done the road and filled with quaint shops waiting for you to explore.
  • Rest In Peace
Rest is sometimes what we need the most. You can meditate by the water, walk in the sand, pray in the sanctuary, or take a nap in your room. At Edge of the Water Women’s Retreat we understand that you might need this time to just be at peace.
